Design a bold, memorable logo for a venture company — decisive and momentum-driven, without relying on sports-field imagery.
Touchdown Venture is a venture and investment company. The name carries a powerful implicit idea: the moment of arrival, the point of commitment, the instant before everything changes. The brief asked for a mark that could hold that meaning — serious enough for a business context, distinctive enough to stand apart from generic corporate branding.
The challenge was resisting the obvious. “Touchdown” is sports language, and literal interpretations — footballs, goalposts, arcing trajectories — would undermine the professional credibility of a venture company. The brief demanded something more abstract: a mark with energy and confidence, built on form rather than reference.

Symbol
A mark with forward momentum built into its structure — not by depicting movement literally, but by letting the geometry itself carry energy. The form is resolved, not restless: confident in a single position, readable at any scale.
Typography
Add font name — the wordmark typeface was chosen to match the symbol's character: decisive, proportioned for authority, and bold enough to hold its own alongside the mark or stand independently in text-only applications.
Colour
Add colour values — the palette signals ambition and professionalism. Chosen to feel appropriate in the boardroom and the pitch deck, while holding enough personality to distinguish Touchdown Venture from generic corporate identity.
