Denman Pac

Power & Cooling Systems Identity

A power and cooling systems company needed an identity that projected engineering precision without feeling cold or generic. Denman Pac required a mark that could live equally well on technical documentation, equipment panels, and client-facing proposals — built to perform, not to decorate.

The Contest Brief

Design a strong, precise logo for a power and cooling systems company — engineering credibility without the clichés of industrial branding.

Denman Pac specialises in power generation and cooling solutions — the kind of engineering that keeps buildings, data centres, and industrial facilities running. The brief called for an identity that matched the precision of their work: technically rigorous, visually confident, and built to endure.

Industrial branding has a tendency to default to the obvious — lightning bolts, cooling towers, gear icons. The brief pushed past those shortcuts, asking for something more resolved and considered: a mark that communicated the expertise of the people behind the company, not just the machinery they work with.

Design Requirements
Strong, professional mark appropriate for an industrial engineering company
Convey precision, reliability, and technical expertise — not generic machinery imagery
Works on technical documentation, equipment panels, uniforms, and proposals
Geometric or abstract approach preferred over literal iconography
Colour palette: blues, grays, or silver tones — industrial confidence
Must scale cleanly from business card to large-format signage

Symbol

A mark built for the demands of industrial application — precise geometry that holds at any scale, from a data sheet header to a panel embossed on equipment. The form communicates controlled energy and technical authority without unnecessary complexity.

Typography

Add font name — the typeface selected reinforces the identity's engineering sensibility: structured, legible, and confident. Every letterform carries the same precision as the symbol it accompanies.

Colour

#AED136 · #F78E1E — a sharp yellow-green paired with industrial amber. Both sit in the high-visibility range used across power and cooling infrastructure, giving the identity instant sector credibility while feeling designed rather than default.
