The Client Brief

Design a brand identity for a wellness centre that communicates the depth of traditional yoga and Ayurveda practice — without drifting into the generic lotus-and-green aesthetic that saturates the wellness market.

Chirayu Yoga & Ayurveda offers traditional yoga instruction, Ayurvedic consultations, and lifestyle wellness programmes in Jaipur. The founder had deep knowledge and a loyal existing client base — the brand had not yet caught up with the quality of the practice.

"Chirayu" — meaning long life, health, and vitality in Sanskrit — gave us a clear conceptual anchor. The brand had to feel rooted and authentic, not trend-following or superficially spiritual.

Design Requirements
Logo mark that conveys calm, tradition, and wellness — without being generic
Natural palette drawing from Ayurvedic earth tones and botanicals
Centre stationery: appointment cards, welcome brochure, session certificates
Social media content templates for wellness tips and class schedules
Product packaging for Ayurvedic herb and oil products
The Final Mark

Rooted in tradition. Accessible to the modern client.

Chirayu Yoga & Ayurveda — final logo mark by Maniesh Singh

Symbol

A mark that draws from traditional Sanskrit and Ayurvedic visual language without being a pastiche of it. Calm, grounded, and confident — it reads as authentically Indian without resorting to the overused motifs of the wellness category.

Typography

Myriad Pro in two weights — Light for body copy, captions, and supporting text where calm readability matters; SemiBold for headings and key callouts where the brand needs presence. The pairing keeps the identity refined across appointment cards, brochures, and digital touchpoints.

Colour

A six-colour system drawn from Ayurvedic botanical references: Herb Green #98C93E, Terracotta Red #C73D27, Deep Blue #044F8A, Turmeric Gold #F9A91A, Neem Green #098843, and Black #000000 for text and fine applications.

The Result

A brand as grounded as the practice it represents

The Chirayu Yoga & Ayurveda identity was deployed across all client-facing materials — appointment cards, welcome brochures, product packaging, and social media templates. The brand now communicates the authenticity and depth of the practice.

New clients frequently comment on the distinctiveness of the brand — it immediately communicates that Chirayu is a serious wellness practice rooted in traditional knowledge, not a trend-following fitness studio.
