Digitalinvites.co.in sells customised digital invitations — wedding cards, birthday templates, and corporate event designs — delivered via WhatsApp within minutes of purchase.
When they came to me, the business was running entirely through third-party marketplaces. Every sale meant paying 25–30% commission to a platform they didn't control, with no access to their customers' phone numbers or email addresses, and no ability to follow up, upsell, or run any kind of retention campaign.
The ask was direct: build us our own platform. One where we keep every rupee of margin, know who our customers are, and can deliver invitations automatically — without someone manually sending files on WhatsApp all day.

Building revenue on someone else's platform
The business had genuine demand — hundreds of orders a month. But the economics were broken. After paying platform commissions, margins were thin enough that a bad month felt like a bad year.
