The Brief

From WhatsApp orders to a proper online gift shop.

Blooms Gifts creates curated gift hampers and personalised gifting sets for weddings, corporate events, and festive occasions. Their product quality was strong and their client base was growing — but their entire order operation ran through WhatsApp messages and phone calls.

During peak gifting seasons — Diwali, wedding season, Holi — the volume of enquiries exceeded what a manual WhatsApp system could handle. Orders were being dropped. Corporate clients wanting GST invoicing had nowhere to place a formal order. There was no way to promote a seasonal collection or let a customer browse and self-serve.

The brief was to build a proper WooCommerce store that could handle order volume at scale — organised by occasion, with Razorpay checkout and corporate invoicing built in from day one.

The Problem

Peak season demand with no system to absorb it.

A gifting business lives and dies by its peak seasons. Diwali, wedding season, and Valentine's Day can represent the majority of annual revenue — but only if the business can handle the volume. With orders managed entirely over WhatsApp, the ceiling was low and the drop rate was high.

Corporate clients presented a specific problem: they needed formal invoices, proper order records, and a payment trail for their accounts teams. None of that was possible through WhatsApp. Large corporate orders — the most valuable ones — were the hardest to close.
